Tip of the Week: Adding hyperlinks in Word documents
So many of our references these days are based on information that we find on the Internet and giving proper credit or making it possible for someone to drill deeper into something that you wrote are both very easily done in Microsoft Word by adding what is called a "hyperlink".
The next time you want to add a hyperlink to a website in Word, highlight the text that you want to work with and then press Ctrl-K, which will open up the 'Insert Hyperlink' window. In the Address: section, insert the entire web address (make sure that it starts with http:// so that Word knows to go out to the Internet for the link) for the information that you want to reference. Click on the OK button and then float your mouse over the newly form
