Tip of the Week: Loading Apps on your memory stick

By now, most of us own a memory stick (a.k.a. thumb drive, flash drive) and many of us carry them on our key chains, in our purse or on a lanyard around our necks.  While we are primarily interested in storing our data files on them for backup or transport, did you know that you can actually load programs on them as well?

Programs that run on memory sticks allow you to transport programs such as browsers (with your favorites), VoIP like Skype (with your user info encoded) and use them on any computer.  Check out a pretty good list of free apps at App-Stick.com!
