Tip of the Week: Using Google's 'cache' for dead links
Searching for specific information can sometimes lead you to Google results that take you to a 'dead link' (a page that no longer exists) or sometimes you want to see an older version of a dynamic page that used to contain the info you seek.
In either case, Google offers a potential solution: cached results.
If you look closely at most search results, you should see at the bottom of each entry a light blue link labeled "Cached" which is a version of the page that resides on Google's servers.
Whenever the link disappears or you want a slightly older version of the page, give the Cached version a try! |
