    Security experts have discovered another major hole in Java and are recommending that unless you really need it, you should disable it (read the details here).

    Geek Speak of the Week: Phablet

    Phablet is an informal term for consumer touch-screen devices with screens that are between five and seven inches. These devices combine the capabilities of a smartphone and mini tablet - and occasionally incorporate a stylus. A phablet is larger than most smartphones, but not as large as a tablet or mini-tablet.

    Security: Adobe mends security holes

    Security flaws in Adobe Flash, Reader, and Acrobat could have been the cause of computer crashes recently.

    The company announced that it sent out updates for these three programs, which are meant to patch security vulnerabilities that cause such system crashes.

    News: Belkin Introduces WeMo Smart Light Switch

    Belkin announced additions to its WeMo line of smart home products. The Belkin WeMo Light Switch is an addition to the existing Switch and Switch + Motion products. It replaces one or more regular light switches in a user's home and can be activated remotely via smartphone app.

    News: Chrysler Turns Cars Into A Rolling Office
