How do I delete some my font's?

My font's file has grown to over 500. How do I delete some, and will it affect some of my stored documents with those fonts? Thanks for your help Myrna

500 is not an unusual numer of font files I have 441 on my computer and i never installed any myself programs that use them put them there but if you wantr to delete some goto C:\WINDOWS\Fonts to delete some but I wouldnt if I was you.
