Why when reboot my computer I get a message

when i boot my computer i get a message that says i have a floppy in the floppy drive and i don't. why?

This question was answered on January 19, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

You have a faultyl floppy drive and should be replaced. You can buy a new one for under $15. To replace simply turn off power to the computer, remove cover, remove the flat ribbon cable and power cable from the floppy drive, remove screws and slide out drive. To install just reverse the steps. Remember to keep the computer unplugged from the wall outlet.
