AnswerThis question was answered on May 20, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) & Genan Import Inc. recently announced a voluntary recall of its Kinetic Lighting Pictures (Moveable Waterfall Pictures). Genan Import is voluntarily recalling about 17,760 of these moving pictures across the US. The recalled Kinetic Lighting Pictures are framed artworks that use electric lights, sound, and moving background scenes, including waterfalls and snow. The recalled pictures have incorrect wiring, inadequate construction, and use flammable materials, all of which pose fire and electric shock hazards to consumers. No incidents have been reported yet, however, the recall is being made in order to prevent the possibility of injury. These products were sold at Dollar & Furniture stores nationwide throughout 2002 and early 2003. Consumers with the recalled units are advised to stop using the product immediately and return it to Genan Import for a refund. For information on returning the picture log on to the company's Web site: www.genanimport.com For more information on this recall please go to:
