This computer will just stop responding for no reason. The keyboard and mouse have no effect?

This computer will just stop responding for no reason. The keyboard and mouse have no effect. If I wait about five minutes, it will come back to the place where it stopped. I can not find any common things to associate when this happens. HELP!!!
