What does Send a Link mean

Question

On my taskbar, there is an open envelope icon: Read Mail, New Message, Send a Link & Send a page. In the past I have used Send a Page to e-mail an internet page.....what does Send a Link

mean?

a link is a connection to a another web page. it' s a url or in more technical terms it's called a "uniform resource locator" or hyper link. it's normally in blue fonts though sometimes you can see them in regular black fonts. so if you want to save resources; instead of sending a graphical web page to your friend send them the"link" to the page instead.
