What is the difference between Norton Anti virus 2005 "full version" and the "upgrade version"

Question

I am about to upgrade my Norton Anti virus to 2005 version.

Is there a difference between the "upgrade version" vs the "Full version"

The price is evntually the same but Syamantec sells the Upgrade version with the rebate up front.

I currently have 2002 version with current supscription.

Thanks

Ken

This question was answered on October 11, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

The difference between the "upgrade version" and the "full version" is as follows.

In order to deploy an upgrade you must have a current version of the software you are planning to update. If you do not have an older version of Norton Anti-virus, you would have to buy the "full version". Since you have aquired the 2002 version of Norton Anti-virus, all you must do now is get the upgrade to be up to date with the current updates on that software. I hope I was able to help you with your question.
