How can I open Windows Media Player?

When I click on my windows media player icon, why it don't come on?

This question was answered on October 28, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

You can try to uninstall Windows Media Player from your control panel in Windows XP. After you uninstall it, go to windows update and run it. This shows that you will need to install Windows Media Player. You can download it and have it installed from there.

If that does'nt work, your playlists are stored in "C:\Documents and Settings\You\MyDocuments\MyMusic\MyPlaylists". You can just copy and paste them out of there and save them.
