How to restore your Mac Operating System?

My apple G4 power book has crashed and every thing is gone.Can you advise me.

This question was answered on November 10, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

When you bought your G4 Power Book i comes with couple of Restore Disk and also Install disk, number of disk depends on the Operating system that you have( OS 9 or OS X).

Try this steps

1) Re-boot your computer.

2) Insert the Restore Disk on the cdrom.

3) Restart your computer.

4) Hold down the C key as the computer starts up, to start up from this cd.

5) Just follow the instruction to restore your operating system

Note:

If this did'nt work use the Install disk and follow the above procedure.
