Why can’t I save Pictures to my Floppy?

I have tried to save my pictures on the computer taken from my digital camera on to a disc. A message comes up saying the disc may be write protected, but these are new blank discs, have tried a few different ones. why cant I save them?

This question was answered on November 10, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

You might have moved the small tab on the back. Try the following sliding the little tab on the back of the disk towards the picture of the open lock. That should fix the problem.
