Start>Run DOS box disappears

Question

Hi, using Win2000, when I try to use DOS commands the black box with all the info appears for about a second then disappears. Any ideas why?

This question was answered on December 9, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

The reason for the "disappearing box" is either due to an incorrect DOS command or that the command has terminated normally after completion.

Use a DOS window. CMD, then put the DOS commands in
