How to fix the shortcut problem?

Greetings,

Every time I start my computer, I get a "problem with shortcut" error message, something about "HP_support something or other"(.INK EXTENSION) not being available. Can you tell me how to rememdy this?

This question was answered on December 27, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

Do a Start-Run-MSCONFIG and look at the startup tab and see if something looks like it may be running a program by that name

Look in your programs startup file for 'Download Plus.Lnk' also check for a line in win.ini & config.sys file for it also check the regestry.

If found in thees places delete them.
