What is the best choice to upgrade a video card that is DirectX 9.0 compatible?

Question

I wish to upgrade my video card to one that is Direct X 9.0 compatible. I have an Asus P2B 350-U mother board with a small slot. What can I use? I brought home an ATI Radeon 9600 & of course it won't fit.

Thanks

Ron
