QuestionHow do I delete a file in DOS?
AnswerThis question was answered on January 11, 2005. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting. From a dos prompt change to the directory where the file that you want to delete is by using the "CD" command. An example would be "CD DOS" to change to the DOS directory. Next type "DEL" and the filename seperated by a space. AN example would be "DEL TEST.TXT" to delete a file called "TEST.TXT" in the DOS folder.
