How do I locate a driver for a printer?

Need driver to operate Canon C2500 Multi-purpose printer/fax using Windows 2000 operating system.

Cannon doesn’t offer a driver for your printer. Your printer came out when Windows 3.1 was out. Windows 3.1 was introduced in 1992 as an upgrade to Windows 3.0. The manufacturer doesn't offer drives for old products every time a new operating system comes out. The average life a PC is 2 years , and the average life for a printer is 5 years. Your printer is 9years old. Cannon doesn’t even offer a driver for XP. It is probably time to buy a new printer. The only way to keep the printer you have is to find an older operating system like Windows 95, 98, or 98 second edition. I would not recommend Window’s Me. Microsoft t created ME so they could have something out on the market until XP came out.
