Why doesn't the keyboard work?

Question

My computer does not let me type anything on the screen, The keyboard works but not ony my computer. When I turn it on, it goes to a screen where i'm suppose to type in a password to be able to use the computer and get into programs but now nothing will show up on the screen. Is there someway i can reboot or something to fix this?

First try using another keyboard into your computer and see if that will solve your problem.
