How do I install my network ready fax machine on to my home computer?

Can I connect a network ready fax machine to my home computer? I have no network, just a NIC card.

This question was answered on March 2, 2005. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

First of all you have to make sure that your fax machine is compatible with windows XP and that your computer has a network card installed most new computers do. Install the drivers because XP despite the rumors dues not have every driver known to man.

Get yourself a couple of cat five or six net work cables and a small network switch use it to connect the two devices and you should not have any problems.
