i INSTALLED A NEW PRINTER A BROTHER MFC-3240C.NOW MY MONITER GOES BLACK FOR 1 TO 3 SECONDS OCASIONALLY ONCE OR TWICE.MAINLY WHEN I OPEN MICROSOFT OUTLOOH AND MY WORKS PROGAMS...

I'VE RESET THE RESOLUTION AND NO LUCK.i WAS TOLD ONCE ABOUT REFRESH RATE BUT WHERES THAT.i HAVE A GEFORCE VIDEO CARD.HELP PLEASE !

This question was answered on September 30, 2005. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

First check the documentation that came with the monitor. Then do a diognostic check of the BIO'S. Follow the instructions or do a reinstall to reconfigure the OS and the printer.
