What should be considered when using a Wireless Dial Up?

Question

I have Dial up Internet and recently had to move my computer to a room, where there is no telephone outlet. Saw at a store a product called General Electric InstJack Wireless for Dial up (SNE TL26595). Are there any precautions to be considered regarding wireless Piracy/ Security concerns? Heared a lot on TV about Hackers being able to intrude Laptop computers using wireless internet connections.

Any help appreciated

You will want to take precautions when you go through and set up your wireless dial up. This product does have a security code you can set up when installing it. As an additional precautionary measure you will also want to have a firewall software installed on your computer.
