How do I get Windows XP to sign me in when I deleted my Password?

I deleted the sign in name for windows XP and I dont know how to get the BIOS to come up on Compaq 5000Aso I can disable it

This question was answered on November 17, 2005. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

You should have made a password reset disk and store with your windows CD’s. If your XP is on a domain account you can press CTRL + ALT + Delete to get into Windows Security. Follow the instructions on the screen from Change Password into Backup then into Forgotten Password Wizard and you will be back in business. Remember to make a back up disk.
