How do I find the correct drivers for my sound card?

Question

I restored my computer to factory settings. And when it came back I had no sound at all. Went through all setting and found that there was no audio device attached. My sound card is integrated into the motherboard. I don't know what drivers i need or how to get them.

If you purchased this computer from a store, online, etc. First contact the place you purchased it from ans see if they have the specifications for it. If not what type of computer is it i.e. HP, Dell, IBM, Gateway, etc. If you know the computer manufacturer contact them with all the info on the computer, and they should be able to tell you what drivers you need. If this is not an option open up the tower and look on the motherboard for a manufacturer name and info, then contact that manufacturer for the info.
