How do I Back-up my computer?

Question

(dang that step 4)

How do I do a total system back-up (save) so that I could reload after in case I ever lose the main drive.

The installs that came with the computer are more than 2 years old. This back-up would need to save files, all software or in other words the whole system.

Thanks for your time and info.

All windows have a backup program. You need to have a tape, floppy disk or CD that will take all the data you want backed up. Go into the back up program and check all files you want backed up and back up to that device.
