How to connect a fax?

MY FAX MACHINE WILL NOT SEND OR RECEIVE FAXES BUT YET MY MODEM SEEMS TO BE WORKING WITH MY INTERNET NEED HEPH TO GET FAX YO WORK

Dear fax,

The first thing you need to do is press start, settings, control panel, printers and faxes. The control panel add new hardware icon handles the process of introducing windows XP to anything you've recently attached to your computer. 1. click the add printer or fax icon. 2. click Next and follow the wizard instuctions. 3. click next and follow the wizard instuctions. 4. Double-click your fax name when you see it listed. Windows XP asks you to stick the appropriate set-up disks into a drive, and the drive makes some grinding noises, 5. click your fax make it set as your default fax. If this does not work, cunsult the manual and check with the manufacturer.
