Problems booting your keyboard and mouse?

Question

When i click the start up button the lights come on but nothing loads, screen doesnt load keyboard or mouse just the light comes on the main computer but nothing happens

This question was answered on July 11, 2006. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

Could be a motherboard issue with your keyboard and mouse ports, or just the drivers were not properly installed. Possible fixes would be disconnecting your keyboard and mouse and then reconnecting them, if that does not work next possible fix would be replacing the keyboard and mouse (very unlikely to resolve the issue, only if its just a bad mouse and keyboard), or replace your motherboard.
