How to choose a new computer?

Question

I am looking into buying a new computer. Most are Windows Vista Capable, but how easy will this be to upgrade? or...should I wait an purchase a computer next year with this already installed.

This question was answered on January 31, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

You can buy a computer now and you can upgrade to Windows Vista when it is available or when you decide to. Or you can wait. Upgrading to new windows requires certain specifications like is your processor, motherboard, your memory,hard-drive,sound and video cards; yet upgrading is not really hard as long your system is capable and your willing to make some changes if needed to accommodate your new system. Or you can buy new pc that already has windows vista installed.
