Why is my wallpaper not displayed?

Question

why when i save a pic as wallpaper it loads but nothing happens it dont come up on screen or in the wallpaper selection spot

This question was answered on February 16, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

The possible reason that your wallpaper does not display is because you saved the picture on your hard drive or other removable disc as a file.Or it could also be you saved it as wallpaper but did not change the settings in control panel to select the picture and tonapply it as wallpaper.You can try to find the picture first in your system and if you find it, go to control panel and go to wallpaper window and select the picture and press apply button,so that the system will save it and use it display it anytime you use the computer until you change it.
