What is wrong with my cd and/or drive?

i can create a music cd but when i try to burn it the program says it is complete but the cd is flawed.

is this a bad disc drive?

This question was answered on April 18, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

The possible reason that there is no data to your cd is because cd was corrupted; even the program for burning cd says it is complete. It means while or after it finished burning the cd, something bad happened in the process of burning the cd. Or it could be the cd drive is not working properly; try to have somebody check the drive or try to buy a new drive that will be compatible with your system.
