How do I clear the address bar on my browser?

Question

How do I edit or delete unused, misspelled, and other misc.junk in the address bar storage list. Some things are in there that I can't figure how they got there - ie; \D, \3 1/2 drive, ??????????? (where I laid on the keyboard),and the new ones I may want to save don't necessarily show up? Help!

If you are referring to the Address Bar in your browser, it is different for each browser. In Microsoft's Internet Explorer you would go to the Internet Options (under the View or Tools menu, depending upon the version), then click on the Clear History button on the General tab page. This will remove all addresses from the pull down bar. In Netscape, look for the Preference item under the Edit menu and click on the Clear History button. If this is not the answer you were looking for, please re-submit your question and be a little more specific with information about the exact program that you are talking about. Address bars exist in lots of programs!
