Question

Sometimes when I receive an e-mail, the entire message area is blank. If I click on "Reply to Author", the text appears. No one seems to know the answer.

It's possible that the actual message has been sent as an attachment. Look for a paper clip icon or whatever your e-mail program uses to indicate an attachment. Try clicking on the attachment to see if the actual message is enclosed. If this is happening to all messages, try calling your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to double check your settings. If all else fails, un-install your e-mail program (you may lose your address book and any other custom settings, such as signature files) then re-install it, but only if this is happening on all of your mail. If it is only on certain messages, it has something to do with the way or method that the sender is sending you the message (i.e. forwarding messages).
