How do I replace my recycle bin icon?

Question

I am running Windows 98 and have not had a recycle bin icon for quite some time. My computer is frequently out of space and would like to clean up some files and send them to the recycle bin or emply it if I can find it.. It cannot be located when looking in Windows Explorer and checking the "C" drive. I tried to look for it in "find" but to no avail. Any ideas?
