How do I clean my print head on my Canon printer?

Question

My printer had set for a few months without being used. Then it started printing fuzzy, as if running out of ink. I replaced the ink cartrige with a new one but I had that cartrige for a month or so before using it. Could that be the problem or do you think the ink jet is clogged.

If the new ink cartridge had been sealed up until the point you put it on your printer it should be fine. Normally Canon Inkjet printers have a print head cleaning utility located in the printer properties. Unfortunately we can't show you exactly what the window will look like for your printer because we do not know the exact model of your printer.
