Restoring Computer

Question

I would like to restore my computer to the original factory settings. How do I go about this?

This question was answered on November 25, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

Use your recovery Cd's that came with your computer. Put in the first CD and start the computer it will boot off of the Cd and will direct you on how to reinstall Windows.

If you are missing your Recovery Cd's you can call your computer manufacture and request new ones.

With doing a new install you will loose all of your DATA so make sure to back up your files before hand.
