Problem opening Excel

Question

Dear Sir,

Microsoft Excel Application file could not open and but, other all applications are OK.

The following error msg is occoured when open the Excel appl.

"A fatal exception OE has occurred at 017E: BFF9DFFF".

But, OE work properly.

This question was answered on November 25, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

Try doing a repair install of Office.

To do this go to Control Panel and scroll down until you find Microsoft Office, click on the Change button and it will give you an option to do a repair.

Make sure you have the CD ready because it will pull missing files off of it.
