Can this be a spyware problem?

Hi.

I'm not sure if this problem has got to do with spyware, but i just can't find another suitable category.

Recently bars have been appearing on my computer very frequently, like almost all the time. More bars appear each time i restart my computer. They are obstructing my view of the words on the screen, and it gets really frustrating. They can be get rid of if you use another window to go over them, but they appear almost immediately after that again.

It seems like a big problem. :( I'd be delighted if you could help me with this. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Lim,

I do not believe this is a spyware issue, but rather could be an issue with your monitor or video card more likely. I would look there first because it seems to be getting worse, this could be a sign of an over heating video card, or possibly a damaged one. Thanks
