How do I remove Dellmyway?

Question

Just switched to Cox from Earthlink. Want to continue to use Earthlink as my homepage. When I open Internet Explorer, this Dellmyway takes over my computer and opens with their home page. Dell and Earhlink have no idea how to get rid of Dellmyway.

Here's a solution:

You will want to remove My Way Search Assistant

* Close all open Web browsers

* Click Start- Control Panel- Add or Remove Programs

* Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon

* Click Remove a program

* Click My Way Search Assistant

* Click the Change/Remove button

* Follow the prompts

The next thing to try, assuming the first solution didn't work, is to download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=290301).

Install the program, then start it. Scroll down the list and click My Way Search Assistant entry, click the Remove button.

Then you should be able to change your homepage to Earthlink with no problems.
