How long does hotmail keep my emails and contacts without logging in?

I just want to know how long I can go without logging into my hotmail.com account before hotmail closes it and deletes all of my folders and contacts.

This question was answered on July 6, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

On the hotmail site it reads: "Your account becomes inactive if you do not sign in for 30 days, or within the first 10 days after signing up for an account. After an account becomes inactive, all messages, folders, and contacts are deleted, but the account name is still reserved.

If the account stays inactive for an additional 90 days, it is permanently deleted.

Messages in the Sent Messages folder that are more than 30 days old are deleted."
