Why do I have problems running videos and music?

I have been getting problems with running videos and music on on computer. I tried running them on different programs windows media, itunes, real,etc. they sound like there lagging or a skipping cd almost, I tried scaning for viruses, spyware, and have used trojan remover. I even tried registry mechanic. my computer has seen to have gotten slower in loading windows and other programs also. Please help.

I am sorry to hear about your problem, this is an amzing anti virus program which is free that I want you to try and see how it goes. Check out www.free.grisoft.com and download AVG free edition, see if you can get any files located that are corrupt or any viruses present.
