One of the most annoying things that happens in Word 2003 (and other applications for that matter) is that the full menu options are not shown until a short delay. You can turn this feature off and show all the items in a menu dropdown by following a few simply steps. In Word, click on View | Toolbars | Customize. Select the 'Options' tab and uncheck 'Show full menus after a short delay' and place a check in 'Always show full menus'. Click on Close and your headwhack is no more!
