I Can't Find My Tool Bar in IE7!!

Where Did the Tool Bar Go in IE7?

This question was answered on August 23, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

Microsoft wanted to "kick it up a notch" when they launched their latest browser, Internet Explorer 7. One of the many changes that came with this new version is that the Menu bar was not displayed by default. Microsoft designed the new interface assuming folks would start clicking on the Tools option (far right) and choose what they wanted, but "that dog won't hunt" for folks that are used to the Menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc.).

To get the Menu bar back in IE7, simply tap the ALT key to toggle it on and off!
