My monitor keeps going blank every now and then. I turn it off then on and its ok, but then it goes blank again in 30 minutes or less. What is wrong?

Is it going off with continued use? Or, is it going off after 30 mins of idle time. You might have a power setting enabled that turns the monitor off after a set time to save power. You can right click on the desktop, select properties and go to the screen saver tab. There should be power saving settings here. You might also need to get out your motherboard manual and get into the BIOS as there are also power saving settings in there.

If the monitor is just going out with continued use i'd suggest you take the monitor to another machine and try it there. If it powers down on the other machine you should get it replaced.
