I can't connect to my company's site, why?

Question

I CAN CONNECT TO ANY INTERNET CONNECTIONS, BUT MY COMPANY

SITES. HAVE BEEN WORKING ON PROBLEM WITH TECHS IN MY COMPANY

FOR A WEEK, NO HELP.

Hello and thank you for sending your question.

Based on the information that you provided, I suggest that you try connecting to http://www.yourcompany.com (name of your company, I am assuming that this is internet and not intranet)using a different computer making sure that you type everything correctly and find out if you can connect to it. If it works,then you know it is your computer that you have a problem.

If you are trying to connect to your company's intranet and you tried using your computer and a different computer (that you know for sure is working properly) and still could not get in, it could be that you need to have access permission granted to you by your system administrator. Most companies use access permissions, where a user must provide USERNAME and PASSWORD to log in. This is done for the

purpose of providing security for the company.
