Why can't I print from the Internet?

I received a new Compac Presario 7470 computer,Windows 98,for Christmas and I have so many problems I don't know where to start. I had Windows 95 before and used AOL. I'm now using MSN Esplorer and since I set it up and tried to print anything from the internet it starts to print and then stops and makes a terrible noise then gives me an error message saying; Printer driver problem data required by the printer driver cannot be found or has been corrupted restart window and try again.

I followed the advise you gave to someone else with a similar problem, which was to remove and reinstall the printer. It didn't work! Help.. It prints fine when I print anything else.

It sounds to me like you are having a printer (driver) problem. I suggest you go to the Hewlett Packard website and download a new driver for your model of printer. They will have installation instructions at the site. I think this will take care of your problem, if for some reason it does'nt, then please re-submit question.
