Why doesn't my printer work?

Question

I have a Canon color Multipass 5500 printer/scanner/fax combo that suddenly has no power. I have changed out the power cords and checked the outlet and all are fine-one day there just was no power feeding to the printer. there is no on/off button on this model and no characters on the LCD display. It does NOTHING! What do I need to do? It was working perfectly the last time I used it. It is in a cold room, could the temp have anything to do w/ it? It is not even a year old.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your question. It sounds like your printer has died. If it's under a year old in most cases it should be under warranty and could possibly be replaced for free. Contact Canon to find out warranty information and read the warranty documentation that came with your printer. Hope this helps and good luck.
