Why does floppy diskette show error?

Every time I put in a certain 3.5 diskette, I get a "cyclic redundancy error." What is this, and how can I fix it?

This "certain" diskette may have a virus that is being blocked by the "boot sector protection" on your motherboard. Get rid of it!!
