When I try to boot my system I get an error message "missing
ntldr" and then the system stops. I can still boot up using
the CD_ROM and getting to the Recovery Console. How do I get this file back using the Recovery Console.

AnswerThis question was answered on April 16, 2001. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting. Hi: ntldr is one of 3-5 NT system files located on the root of the boot drive (usually C:) It has probably been accidently deleted. To fix this simply copy ntldr from another system or a boot floppy to your c: drive.
