Japanese camera maker Minolta has announced a limited recall of its latest high-end digital camera.

A faulty main switch on certain models of Dimage 7i camera purchased in the last three months could cause the camera to malfunction, the company said.

Customers who purchased a camera with a serial number between 95217273 and 95219999 or between 96201000 and 96226022 are advised to send the camera to Minolta's main U.S. repair center for replacement of the faulty part.
