AnswerThis question was answered on January 30, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting. Hard drive space is called "storage", as opposed to memory, which is a fixed amount of electronic storage that contains information, which changes depending on what programs are running at the moment. Your profile says you have an 80-Gigabyte hard drive. The current state-of-the-art in software being what it is, almost any information can be stored on your hard drive that a typical PC user would want to store there, and still not be a problem. Therefore, I can't be certain what condition might exist that could be causing your concern. Here Microsoft's page detailing the Windows XP system restore functions. Perhaps it will supply you with the information you need. >http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/gethelp/systemrestore.asp</p> RG
